At Laggträsket you will also find a mineral hike, walking trails, nice areas for horseback rides and beautiful meadows close to the cottages.



The water in the lake is crystal clear, cold and fresh. A number of cold springs in and around the lake form the inflow and the outflow passes through the ridge that forms the lake's north eastern edge. The lake is 36 hectares in size and 20 meters at its deepest. Thanks to the clear waters and good spawning beds, Trout, Arctic char and Whitefish is reproduced in the lake. You can easily buy a fishing license.



In Laggträsket you may hunt small game (Capercaillie, Black Grouse, White grouse and hare) on a 6000 hectare wilderness hunting ground. Biotopes in the area are diverse with elongated marshy areas in the south and hilly old forest areas in the north. A lot of old trees (up to 500 years) is left in the area. Small game hunting is offered only in connection with accommodation. You have the possibility to buy a hunting license.

In Laggträsket you are only allowed electric boat motors, they are available for rent, though you need to bring your own battery, please contact Lönås Intresseförening for further information and assistance.



According to the Hunter Association’s regulations, small game hunting is not allowed on the following dates: 1/9-4/9, 20/9-25/9 and 10/10-19/10 in 2015.
