Explore the ancient, mythical tunnels down below. Experience an underground world where time has stood still since the mine was closed. Climb over deep chasms and balance at the edge of a drop. With the appropriate equipment, we climb safely through the mighty halls of the mine.
The easier tour of the mine, but still a stunning experience. Together with our guides you descend the 110 meter stair in the old staff shaft. Once down, an exciting walk takes you past the three crystal clear lakes to the torch lit Great Hall where you will feel the greatness of the mine. We offer coffee and pastries during the tour.

A guaranteed adventure for up to 16 people. Together with our guides you go down through the drift system and cellars to the deepest parts of the mine, 80 meters underground. Down there you will experience everything from underground, crystal clear lakes to huge mining halls. The tour offers several exciting parts, such as climbing the mine's Via Ferrata system as well as rappelling. In the Great Hall you will experience the mine's splendour in the light of torches. The whole experience can be adapted to the interests and conditions of each group. We serve coffee and pastries during the tour. The tour lasts approximately 4 hours. You ascent via the ice covered quarry.

The average temperature in the mine is 5 degrees Celsius all year round. It is a rough, dirty and demanding environment with plenty of stones and rocks. We recommend durable and robust clothing:
Thermals (or long johns. Rather wool than cotton.)
Durable trousers (jeans, dungarees or similar)
Sturdy shoes (hiking boots, boots, high ankle sneakers)
Small backpack (for spare or excess clothes)
Gloves (working gloves or similar)
