The Stand Up Paddle course, will give you the basics of paddling standing up!
Stand Up Paddle, abbreviated SUP, can be briefly explained as standing upright on a board whilst propelling oneself forward using a paddle with a long shaft.
Virtually anyone can paddle a SUP board. It may feel a bit wobbly the getting up from a kneeling to a standing position for the first time. But you will find your balance surprisingly quickly and feel quite comfortable with your new vessel.
Controlling a SUP board is not a problem. All boards are equipped with a stern fin to improve stability and direction. Even the paddle and your own centre of gravity will help you to stay on course.
This 2 hour course will give you the basics of SUP paddling and some useful tips on how to develop your paddling.

casual functional wear (no jeans or cotton), underwear (e.g. craft), rainwear, swimsuit, waterproof shoes, towel, sun hat, sunscreen, sunglasses, change of clothes as you will get wet, water bottle (can be filled on site) and a hot beverage to warm you up afterwards.
