Camp Svanis welcomes you to an exciting experience of forest bird hunting in the forests of Swedish Lapland.
Camp Svanis is situated some 35 km north of Boden and is a true wilderness resort with hunting and fishing as main attractions. The hunting takes place adjacent to the camp and is a traditional Norrbotten “rough shooting”, where you, the hunting guest, is always at the center of events. Western Capercaillie and Black Grouse are on the agenda and our experienced guides and well merited hunting dogs will do their utmost to give you a grand experience with abundant game. Camp Svanis offers a full range of services, including genuine accommodation in multi-bed cabins with relaxing, log-fired sauna and open-air hot tubs.
Day 1: Guests arrive at Camp Svanis, where you are accommodated before we leave for the shooting range to test our weapons. In the evening we gather for dinner in the large tent and review the hunt. A relaxing sauna rounds off the evening.
Day 2: After an early and hearty breakfast, we head out onto the hunting grounds. The hunt is conducted with tree hounds and hunting guide. The terrain is varied and partly hilly. Interruptions are made during the day for snacks and refreshments, served and enjoyed around the campfire.
Day 3: See program Day 2.
Day 4: We start the day with breakfast and hunt until lunch. Subsequently, we gather to discuss the hunting days before we all return back home.
